A few days ago Indigo was hanging precariously off the sliding glass door as I arrived home from school and was locking up my bike...there is a 24 inch step down to a concrete landing. I said be careful or you'll break your neck. He was curious about what that meant so I explained breaking your neck is something serious to be avoided. The following day Jodi was leaving for a walk to the grocery store and Indy said, "don't come back with a broken neck". Jodi was not a part of the broken neck conversation and was very surprised and confused to hear these parting words from her son.
