Celebrating my 36th with the boys. Austin is 2 weeks and a day, to this day. Brighter eyed and more aware day to day. So cute. So perfect. So grunty. No crybaby here. Gruntbaby and or groanbaby is more apt. Transition is the optimal word to describe life around our square little home. Everyone can hear everyone. Indigo "buzz lightyear" James is dealing quite well with the new family dynamic...he is interested in his brother. But it is measured. We eagerly await the photo op of big brother holding little brother. He's working up to it. Having expressed his apprehension about holding his brother and maybe hurting him, he will decide when the time is right. Austin is a hungry little barracuda...growing, growing, growing. Jodi is a fighter. And I love her for it. And she loves a good 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep these days when little Artie obliges. I'm hanging by threads at 11:06pm on a Friday. Enjoying the solo time with tunes and time to reflect. Thanksgiving came and went here with not much notice. Kind of miss it. Kind of too tired to care. Having said that. Happy Thanksgiving!
