Jodi was putting Austin to bed after reading stories, snuggling and settling in for the night. He had quieted down and was laying calmly in bed next to Jodi when he turned and said, "I don't want to leave you when I'm old." A month earlier Austin had asked Jodi about kids moving out when it is time to go off to college, or strike out on their own to begin adult life. He was assured by his mom that it's not obligatory to move out when you go to college, and that we can always live close together when he decides he'd like to have his own home and family.
