Final exams at school gave way for an early release of 1:00 yesterday. That meant I was able to surprise Indy by picking him up at school. We stopped by the 100 yen store for some snacks, then picked Jodi up at the house and walked over to our favorite park with a lake called Kado --- don't know why it is called that. It just is. We ate mandarin oranges (including Indy!!! this was momentous) and chocolate/peanut clusters. Yum! The weather was mild and the light was a rich golden autumn color. We played a balancing game on the see-saw that you will see in photos...it lead Indy to announce, "I can do it Papa! I'm so happy I can do it!"
