The heat was waning today. I think our first typhoon since returning from summer travels blew the heat elsewhere. Thank god. Life has been mostly upbeat with we three feeling positive about the here and now. Indigo James has started riding the bus to school and was nervous as he entered the bus for the first time, and moments later very proud as it pulled away. Ear to ear grinning. School for me has been much the same as before. Needlessly serious and stiff. I'm staying positive and working hard to be creative for my students. Jodi is feeling good. Getting comfortable in our house is a little tricky. Our furniture is small and limited. The heat has been brutal for her...our AC has been running for close to three weeks straight. The electric bill is going to be sky high. With that said her spirits are up and we all are sooooo excited to meet the new baby in less than two months.
