Lego flight

Legos have been very popular around the house lately. Not just for Indy, but Mom and Dad as well. The first 3 weeks here in Numazu we had a lot of family time together. We walked together completing errands. Invested considerable time exploring our neighborhood 100 Yen store (dollar store). The 100 Yen stores have it all. They are pretty cool. We found and purchased a stroller from a recycle shop (2nd hand store) which enabled us to walk and explore further. We've read together alot. Made drawings and played with playdoh. A week or so after the stroller we expanded our travel range by ordering and purchasing a bike seat for Indy from a local bike shop. We are steadfast in not purchasing a car. Too much money. Too much hassle. Too much red tape. What else? I finished a book called Fly Boys. I got my WWII history lesson. Blood and guts all the way. It was a depressing read. Yet with chapters that were quite enlightening. Jodi polished off the Twilight series in Spanish. Oh yeah, Japanese. We are primed to tackle it. We had a free lesson at the public library. The turn out was surprising. There was easily over 50 people there. Our teacher was really funny. She had great energy and made us laugh. She mostly taught us Hiragana characters...one of the three written languages here. I'd go again tomorrow but I have to work all day at school. I'm bummed about missing it. But I can definitely use the time at school.
